Welcome to “EastBaltCo.com” As many of you know, I was a reporter for The East County Times and Dundalk Eagle. I am also the creator of the blog "Benstorming." I've covered stories in eastern Baltimore County for the past nine years. Instead of returning to a traditional blog, I decided the area needs better news coverage.

Many of the local papers are no longer ran operate of eastern Baltimore County. The famous online news site, that was once a powerhouse in multiple communities, has dwindled down after many corporate cuts.
Since I'm starting off small and slow, most of my material will be obtained from press releases submitted by the Baltimore County Office of Communication, the Baltimore County Police Department  Baltimore County Public Schools, CCBC and County Sportszone.

I will still write my "Benstorming" blog. Right now, I'm a one-man band. I am looking for columnists and reporters (maybe some college students) to help build EastBaltCo.com.
